  The worse place ever to have anything. The owner is very rude along with her staff. She seems nice at first just to get your money!!! I had my wedding there and I regret it every day!! Where should I start. She yelled at my Aunt during the ceremony because she had my 5 month old in another room with the door shut part way because he was crying and did not want to disrupt the wedding. Then we found out that her staff was eating our food which by the way comes from Public's because we found the same stuff tasting the same way there. Then they broke my unity candle and tried to melt it back together and did not tell us. I could not fix my hair cause there was no working out lits for me to plug in a curling iron. The cake was stale it tasted like a week old frozen cake. She sucks at taking pictures. No pics of my father walking me down the isle or our first kiss, the father daughter dance. PLEASE PEOPLE DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!!!!

  The Mitchell House and Gardens is a fabulous place to have a wedding. I have worked as a DJ for 20 years, and this place has a great system going. They are professional and provided me with the assistance of their reception manager to coordinate the reception. I noticed extreme professionalism and a genuine desire to make the events there effortless and stress-free. The staff all worked together to provide a truly memorable and beautiful event. I had my wedding there many years ago and have enjoyed a wonderful relationship ever since. That is why I will DJ at the Mitchell House and Gardens anytime because I know it will be organized, professional, beautiful and excellent. I highly recommend the Mitchell House for anyone who wants a beautiful memorable wedding with the grace and charm of the south.
